Olga Yu. Vasilyeva — is an academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, President of the Russian Academy of Education, honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, academician of the International Association of Academies of Sciences, chairperson of the Scientific Council on Education of the International Association of Academies of Sciences, head of the section of educational sciences under the Coordinating Council of the Fundamental Scientific Research Program in the Russian Federation for the long-term period (2021-2030), honored scientist of the Russian Federation.

Her research interests include study of the history of religions and the history of state-confessional relations in the Russian Federation; content, methodology and teaching of the course
“Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics”; history of Russian education; moral and ethical aspects of education.

O.Yu. Vasilyeva was the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2016-2018), the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation (2018-2020).

Olga Yuryevna is the author of more than 160 scientific works, including 8 monographs. 3 doctors of science and 29 candidates of science defended their theses under her scientific supervision.
